Praevaricatio 7
Praevaricatio 7 is a minimalist avant-garde artwork that explores human transgressions through a deeply sensory experience. Integrating live music, dance, spoken word, and visuals, it invites the audience into an emotional and reflective immersion—one that delves into the inner self, evoking profound sensations and forging a visceral connection with the stage.
The piece draws inspiration from the seven deadly sins and their opposites—not from religious dogma, but as transgressions inherent to the human condition.
Each scene unfolds a unique sensory experience through:
Body languages: Butoh dance, hybrid movements, contact improvisation, and more.
Vocal languages: Spoken word, sounds, and tonal expression.
Musical languages: Sonic layers, textures, and atmospheres.
Sensory languages: Lighting, imagery, scents, and tactile elements.
A guided improvisation unfolds within a narrative structure, incorporating scenic elements, sensory FX (aromas, lights, textures), and visual projections.
Performers: 3 dancers/actors – 3 musicians.
